Wet, wetter, lube
Do you like lubricants? A few years ago, most of you would answer that the lubricant is only used by older ladies whose peaches cannot get wet enough to have pleasurable sex. Also, a lubricant was considered a sign that the partner was no longer attracted to us. However, times have changed.
Today, it is used by women who face postmenopausal problems, as estrogen levels fall during this period, causing vaginal dryness, and women who have no problems but want to spice up their experience. Nevertheless, lubricant use, especially in my generation, who think the body is capable of working correctly twenty-four hours a day, is taboo. It is believed that men can use it in solo play, but we are more conservative when it comes to women. Why use it if the peach can do it on its own?
I have never used it till now. I was rubbing my clit so long that the peach started producing its own juice. If my head was all in the solo game and my body wasn't, I simply gave up and promised to do it the next day. Or any other day. Then I got a Durex lubricant as a gift. I just couldn't resist the temptation of trying out something new, so I decided to use it despite the already well-moistened peach. Otherwise, there was no pleasant tingling the lubricant promised to give me, but the feeling was right. The rubbing became smoother and more comfortable. From that moment on, the lubricant deserved a special place beside my bed.
Types of lubricants
You can choose from three types:
- water-based lubricant,
- silicone-based lubricant,
- oil-based lubricant.
Water-based lubricant is considered the alpha and omega among lubricants. You can use it in any activity, be it sex, anal and vaginal, or masturbation. In sex, its use is favored mainly because you can also use it wearing a condom. Safe and fun at the same time. Your sheets will stay clean because this type of lubricant leaves no stains. However, it cannot be used while bathing as it washes off. Also, with a water-based lubricant, it should be noted that it quickly becomes sticky, and therefore you need to apply it several times. Before the D-day, check to see if you have enough of it, especially if you have sex or masturbation marathon in mind.
If your skin does not respond well to a water-based lubricant, it is better to use a silicone-based one. Interestingly, allergic reactions are less common with this type of lubricant. You can use it during sex, even with a condom. In contrast to water lubricant, it is recommended for sex in the shower. However, it is better not to use it in the bath, as the soap removes it quickly. The silicone-based lubricant also leaves stains on the sheets and on the floor. Yeah, you read that right. You don't want to spill it on the floor. The greasy stain will stay there for quite some time, and you will need to be extra careful not to step on it. Do not use silicone lubricant with silicone toys, but rather combine it with plastic, glass, or metal dildos/vibrators. Silicone-based lubricant + silicone toy = damaged toy.
Oil-based lubricants last longer than water or silicone-based ones. You can use it in the shower, for unprotected sex, and while playing with toys. Unfortunately, the oil lubricant should not be used together with latex condoms and toys, as the oil corrodes the latex. This type of lubricant is the least popular, as it is difficult to wash out of the body despite stubborn rubbing.
With today's flood of lubricants, be careful when deciding to buy it. The pH of each lubricant should be equal to the pH of the vagina, i.e., between 3.5 and 4.5. Also, read the ingredients each time. Avoid anything that triggers allergic reactions and inflammation, such as:
- glycerin (causes a warm feeling and good smooth rubbing, but at the same time can cause dehydration and damage to vaginal and anal tissue),
- propylene glycol,
The lubricant helps and enhances your hot moments, whether it's sex or a solo game. The water-based lubricant suits me best, as it is versatile and practical during sex and testing new toys. I'm not quite used to it yet, but I use it when I remember that it is right beside my bed. It suits me when I'm in a hurry, but my brain insists on having my dirty moment, but my body won't let me. So take courage, search for the one that suits you best, and allow your peach to be ready for some action.
