Review – Lelo MONA Spectra
I tested it for almost a month, from warm days to those that were already quite autumnal, when the early arrival of evening surprised me. I spent the whole month searching for words to describe my enthusiasm, but I couldn't find them – no adjective seemed sufficient. I received a real surprise toy that revealed its qualities to me day by day. Lelo MONA Spectra has made my toy family even richer.
There are so many words that I don't even know where to start. The year of testing toys turned out differently than I had imagined. Caught up in monotony and chores, I was completely blown away by everything this toy has to offer. Each day of testing was like a new surprise. Although the initial description of the toy – a G-spot stimulator – should have raised some concerns, worry was the last thing on my mind as I embarked on this new adventure.
My package was just like Lelo's always is – beautiful and elegantly black. Hidden under the cover was MONA Spectra, dressed in white silicone with a wavy surface of the insertable part. It reminded me of Snow White. Especially against the black background, the toy looked truly magical. Hidden under its fluffy bed were the warranty, lubricant, charging cable, storage bag, and a raffle for a vibrator plated in real gold, which I still haven't given up on. As my hand glided over the silicone, the motion was smooth, as if I had greased it with lubricant beforehand. This movement encouraged me to get to know the vibrator more thoroughly.

This time, I started differently. As if in a hurry, I skipped the clitoris, grabbed my phone, added the toy to Lelo's app, and I was ready. I thought I already knew the app well enough when the updated version appeared on my phone screen after tapping on the desired toy. At least it felt like I was seeing it for the first time. In the background, a white vibrator adorned the black screen, while four tiles were pushed to the forefront:
- Play
- Settings
- Cleaning Mode
- Device Info
Those who have known me for a long time know that I hesitated over whether to press the cleaning mode button or the play button first. I decided to check the information about the device first. I finished faster than I expected. Only the device's registration date and serial number are hidden there. Then my finger decided to take a look at the settings. Here, too, I only stayed for a short time, which I really liked. Under this tab, you can reset the vibrator, set when the toy stops by itself, and turn off the desired vibration modes – this alone seemed like a real gem to me, although perhaps unnecessary with this toy and this app, as I realized later when I finally got to the "Play" tab.

Here, I encountered something already familiar: eight vibration patterns that I could control in four ways, just like with Lelo's previous toys. You can also choose two programs that lead you to climax and are hidden under the "Advanced Mode" tab. But what really blew me away was at the bottom of the page, under the heading "LED lights." If you enable this option, you can choose between blood-red, Grinch-green, and sea-blue lights that shine with the following intensities:
- red: 615 nm~625 nm
- green: 525 nm~535 nm,
- blue: 465 nm~475 nm,
- near-infrared 850 nm
Even before I made my decision, I came across the advice that the recommended duration for using LED lights is ten to fifteen minutes, three times a week. And a plan was already taking shape in my mind. When I pressed a specific color, a description of the LED light's purpose immediately followed. Since I was already halfway through the Snow White fairy tale, I opted for blood red, which is said to enhance skin vitality and gradually smooth it. As if that weren't enough, I also activated the last option – infrared, for the overall well-being of my skin. If I don't have a mask, I have a toy!

I must admit that I was immediately fascinated by the new technology, but at the same time, I was also a little confused. I didn't know where to use the lights. I knew that peach was the first choice, but since all the tips are about wellness, it seemed to me that it was also suitable for external use. This was further supported by the fact that I could easily turn off the vibrations and indulge in the light alone.
And that's exactly what I did; even before I illuminated the interior of the tent, my blanket created with the light. When I finished, I had more than an excellent reason to try the cleaning mode as well. Following the app's instructions, I soaked the tip under running water and pressed the toy's center button. The intense vibrations kicked in, and a countdown appeared on the phone screen. When the cleaning was finished, the vibrator turned off automatically, and my hand was still recovering from the all-too-pleasant vibrations.
I was ready for my fairy tale. I located the indentation on the base and pressed it, causing the Lelo inscription to start flashing. The app connected to the phone instantly. I wasn't interested in manual control, but if my phone ever froze, I would use the up and down buttons to adjust the vibration patterns and the left and right buttons to increase or decrease the vibration intensity. I lubricated the toy and pushed it deep into my peach. I picked up the phone and went through all four possible control modes. My peach woke up at the very first vibration of the phone. Since I wanted to keep my wrist alive for the next day at work, I opted for point control, which was my favorite when testing Lelo toys in the past. This time, I chose green light.
Once I had warmed up, I left the vibrations at level sixteen, the highest possible setting, and started choosing between the patterns. Between the undulating and pulsating modes, I was most captivated by the latter, as they were clearly felt in my peach and allowed me to feel the toy's undulating surface even more with each thrust. In the meantime, the insertable part had already warmed up nicely. It was pleasant, and I was caught just before the climax of the green fairy tale. My finger slid across the screen, complicating the story. A few more moments, and I reached my peak, which brought tears to my eyes. One of the few G-spot stimulators that brought me orgasm and tears.

Although it was strong, the pea monster wanted to experience the same story. Perhaps it was just my imagination, as my legs and my peach were throbbing from the intense vibrations. But it was too good to be true. I also put the tip of the toy on the clitoris. It only took me a few seconds to reach another climax. This time, I wrote the fairy tale faster.

I am a woman of routine – if you take it away from me, I am like a lost child in the middle of a crowded street. I don't know where to look or where to go. Nevertheless, the routine intended for me has already been neglected too many times. I'm being called by tasks that, in my mind, need to be taken care of as soon as possible; otherwise, there's less sleep at night and a lot of tossing and turning. From the beginning, I found it difficult to establish a routine with Lelo's wellness device.. It was really tough. I already had a plan for after work, but too often something would get in the way.

It was only over time that I succeeded. I started my afternoon rest with a little pampering – sometimes I would give myself a full-body massage, and sometimes it was only my peach’s turn. Although at first it sometimes felt like I was swimming against the current, I got used to it after a good week. Like when I go for a Sunday laser skin treatment.

It's hard for me to talk about a visible result, but not for a second do I regret having the opportunity every week to test the effects of different lights, wild or very gentle vibrations, and, for the very first time, even cleaning a vibrator. And with each new test, it transports me into a fairy tale – I float, surrounded by twinkling lights. Sometimes I got tired of toys faster than of chores, but I can't resist this one like Snow White, who brightened up my childhood evenings.
